Swift Campout 2024 - VIBC Cowichan River Trip

VIBC is proud to be an official navigator for the 10th annual edition of the Swift Campout!

For those unaware, the Swift Campout is an annual, global call to go bike-camping to celebrate the summer solstice. For the tenth year in a row, adventurers will pack camp gear on their bicycles and head out on June 22nd and 23rd, 2024 to kick off summer with a bike-overnight. Swift Campout is an ode to spending the longest day in the saddle and the shortest night under the stars. It is a celebration of the stellar community that rallies to share this stoke. Join the Fun! We currently have 50 folks signed up for our Solstice journey to Horseshoe Bend group site in Cowichan River Provincial Park Friday June 21st to Sunday June 23rd 2024. Stay tuned for further information including some adventurous routes to our destination, optional day rides exploring the Cowichan River and Lake area on the Saturday, and other materials to help build the stoke for what promises to be a spectacular event!
